Niagara County & Western New York Micro Cluster Zone Informational Webpage Now Available
In an effort to assist businesses and residents of Niagara County with regards to understanding the Micro Cluster Zones and the restrictions associated with them, the Niagara County Center for Economic Development has created a new webpage. Click here to learn more about the zones and their restrictions, to find maps outlining the various zones in Western New York, and to find answers to frequently asked questions.
UPDATE: Governor Cuomo announced the expansion of the Yellow Micro-Cluster Zone in Niagara County. The areas under the Yellow Zone Micro-Cluster will now include the following: The entirety of the cities of Lockport, Niagara Falls and North Tonawanda, the towns of Lockport, Niagara, Pendleton, and Wheatfield, and the Village of Lewiston. Also included are portions of the towns of Cambria, Lewiston, Newfane, Hartland and Royalton.
Under the Yellow Zone designation the following restrictions will be in effect:
- House of Workshop: 50% capacity
- Non-Residential Mass Gatherings: 25 people maximum, indoors and outdoors
- Businesses: Remain open
- Dining: Indoor and outdoor dining allowed, maximum four(4) people per table
- Schools: Remain open, 20% of staff, students must be tested on a weekly basis

Note, the changes to the Yellow Zone announced by Governor Cuomo on Monday, December 14th will take effect for businesses on Wednesday, December 16th, and for schools on Monday, December 21st.
